Healthy Home Arts, LLC was founded by Jenny Michalak, a certified Bau- biologie Environmental Consultant with the International Institute of Bau- biologie™ & Ecology, Inc. The company’s mission is help homeowners, business owners and non-profits identify and reduce environmental toxins which are affecting the health of their space and those who live and work there. Designing and sourcing materials which are healthy and “green” is another approach which can be very effective. Services include: Indoor Air Quality Assessments, Electromagnetic Environmental Assessments, New Building and Renovation Consultations, and more. Jenny has a background in “green” solutions. With degrees from. the University of Michigan and the University of Missouri-Columbia, she worked for more than 16 years in print journalism as a designer. She became aware of Bau-biologie when working on a home renovation. Jenny also called on the Institute of Bau-biologie™ & Ecology in Clearwater, Florida during her work with bluehouse. She then attained her certification from IBE. She is a member of the Chesapeake Sustainable Business Alliance and coordinates the Baltimore Green Happy Hours.
