Anne Stewart, of Environmental Health Consulting, will work with you to develop a health plan for your home, and/or home office. This plan will reduce risk, improve health and happiness, and prioritize changes in your home. You may ask “What can I do”? The simplest answer to improving health (beyond avoiding exposure to lead, asbestos, and having abundant fresh air) is: avoid wireless signals and avoid plastics. Areas of expertise include: Appraisal of the building envelope (wall systems, moisture, humidity), study of indoor air quality (air filtration, temperature variances, particulate counts, temperature variances, combustion gas, pesticide, volatile organic compounds including formaldehyde, mould), testing electro-magnetic fields, examination of infection control, and assessment of lighting & design (natural light, passive solar heating, design for summer cooling glare, flourescent tubes). Background: Anne Stewart has a Bachelor of Applied Science from Ryerson University, Toronto, specializing in Environmental Health, a 12- year career in residential property management & renovation, and an 8-year career as a Public Health Inspector. Anne is a certified Building Biologist Environmental Consultant (BBEC). You may be asking “What does Environmental Health Consulting offer”? I am able to conduct a thorough inspection and conduct testing of your home (or home office) so that you can create healthy living and work spaces. Call me, or text message me (on my phone) or e-mail to schedule an appointment. | |||
